Each individual is placed in an environment that is free of barriers considering their need for health, safety, and amount of supervision needed for each individual.Freedom from Abuse and Neglect:
Each individual is monitored to determine if services could be considered emotionally, mentally, or physically harmful.Reasonable Accommodation:
Every individual obtains special adaptations due to their disability and needs.Age Appropriateness:
The staff considers whether a person of the same age and gender without handicaps would do the same activity.Active Treatment:
Each individual has continuous, individualized interventions and social interactions to assist the individual in achieving the most independence and self respect.
